I always seem to be on the move having lived in seven cities and counting in my nineteen years. I'm not on the run from the law as many have assumed (at least I don't think so), but moving around has given me an appreciation for how places make stories and people make memories. While change is inevitable, books are the friends that I take with me from place to place. They comforted me when I was sick, they push me to continue to learn and grow into myself, and most importantly they opened me up to the possibilities of living in thousands of places all at once.
I primarily read YA fiction, as well as a lot of graphic novels and manga. However, I tend to be this combination of odd reads, so expect the unexpected!

After stumbling upon the first volume of Love and Capes, I made a point in my library browsing routine to return to that exact spot to check if the second one was available. Sure, I could have requested it, but that ease of "ask and receive" ruins part of the fun. Love and Capes managed to work it's way into my subconscious so deeply that I even had a nightmare about it. I had gotten volume two, but had also mistakenly grabbed volume one and was feeling panicked and confused about this very, very serious debacle. (My dream logic is so screwy that I wish I could tell you this sort of dream doesn't happen often, but it does, it does with alarming frequency.)So nightmare aside, Going To The Chapel was a excellent continuation of the first volume. This time around we are following each event working up to the wedding after it was made clear that Mark planned to propose. From the asking, to the dressing, to the day itself, each story had something funny and interesting going for it. We also have that same bright and bold artwork style, but this time around the level of detail put into each background really stood out to me. There was always more to look at then just the characters, with so much variation, not only with the locations themselves, but with different backdrops for each panel. The characters, new and old, all had there time to shine. With great dialogue and character designs that I am still just in awe of. Each character had so much movement and expression that I fell in love with each and every of them. This volume was just full of happy-fun-times. I can't put it more elegantly then that.
